Support for Students

Student Awards

With the cost of education rising and enrolment growing rapidly, increased financial support is critical to help students reach academic goals. A variety of options are available for donors who wish to fund scholarships, bursaries and other awards. Receiving a UBC Okanagan Bursary gives students the opportunity to pursue their passion and take their achievements into the world. Your support allows these talented individuals to focus more time on their studies, reduces the burden of financial worry, and allows them to become more involved in the unique opportunities that UBC’s Okanagan campus provides.

Student Experience Awards

Enriched educational experiences include studying abroad, community service learning, undergraduate research, internships and cooperatives, student leadership opportunities and small first year classes. The Aboriginal Program & Services Fund helps to provide culturally appropriate support to First Nations, Metis and Inuit students. Your support demonstrates your commitment to enriching the quality of the student experience for Aboriginal students—by promoting greater access, providing capacity building opportunities and celebrating success.

Graduate Student Support

Graduate student support inspires students to achieve their full potential, and empowers the University to attract the very best student-researchers, enriching the learning environment and boosting the potential for innovative collaboration. The knowledge graduate students generate improves the social, cultural, and economic quality of life of people in our community, across Canada, and around the world.
